VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Staff Appreciation - assist in baking /cooking or making treats for staff on a monthly basis year round
Hospitality - welcome new parents to our school year round
Yearbook - help take candid photos, crop pictures and organize year book year round
Publishing Center - type and bind classroom books and projects year round
Lunch Buddy - have lunch once a week with a student other than your own year round
Landscaping - help weed and maintain school grounds year round (couple of hours seasonally)
Fundraising - help set up fundraising events, collect donations and help find money year round
Art Docent - organize monthly classroom art history lesson and art project- training provided year round (1 day a month)
Food Bank - organizes food and personal supplies for donation to our food bank year round
Membership - sign up and maintain membership records year round (busier in fall, very light rest of year)
Newsletter - monthly publication keeping parents updated with activities year round
Student Banking - program with Washington Mutual teaching kids to save money year round
Family Fun Nights - help organize fun family nights like barbecue and pumpkin night
School Pictures - help comb hair and line up students for pictures in September (1 day)
Reflections - help organize Oct. art workshops and mounting of artwork
Student Stores - help with special 2 day holiday store in December & during Valentines, Mother’s & Father’s day
Carnival - help with pre-carnival preparations and help organize the event in May
Aquasox Reading Program - students read books and get Aquasox tickets, help organize in March\June
Summer Scholars - print forms and help collect money for books in June
Field day - organize fun athletic events for kids one day in June
Theatre Arts Review - help kids produce music, art, and poetry for big show in March
Accelerated Readers - help kids get incentive for reading, get prizes, keep parents aware
